FLAIR’19 IS BRINGING US FIFA 20 AND MORE

When it comes to competitive gaming events in universities, team PCG has partnered up in almost every major one in the past couple of years, including FAST’s Procom and IBA’s Probattle. Up next on the list, is PAF-KIET’s Flair’19 brought to you by Youth Intelligentsia. Now besides gaming, this event is mostly based on academic, literary and debating competitions but being a gaming platform, we are only going to discuss the gaming aspects while for the rest you can always reach out to them

FIFA 20

Starting off with what may come as a surprise, the team behind Flair has taken a step ahead of others by becoming the first of its kind to feature FIFA 20 amongst its Esports competitions. It will be exciting to see how the turnout will be with the game still being in its early phases. While being in-practice is a far-off consideration, many have still not even purchased the game. With the entry set at 500PKR the winning for FIFA is 4000PKR with room for an increase depending upon the number of players. The format will be Groups and Knockouts with 5 min halves.

PUBG Mobile

Moving on to PUBG mobile, the table will be created based on positions in each game with the first getting 30 points, second earning 22 points, 3rd earning 19 and so on. The difference after is 3rd is either of 2 or 3 points between every position. Besides this, teams will also be getting one point per kill. The entry for PUBG is 400 per participant while the winning would be 6000PKR.

DOTA 2 | CS 1.6

DOTA 2 will be played on the standard DOTA format that we’re used to with the winning being 8000PKR for an entry fee of 500PKR per participant. On the other hand, Counter Strike 1.6 will be played as first to 16 on the following maps: de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke, and de_train with the entry and winning being same as that of DOTA 2.

NFS Most Wanted

Last but not the least, Need for Speed Most Wanted which will be played amongst 20 players. The race type would be circuit with players getting first position moving on to the next round. The entry for NFS will be 500PKR per participant with a 4000PKR winning to play for.

The team behind the event has assured us that these winnings will increase depending on the number of registrations they get so nothing is certain yet. Needless to say, Team PCG will be there as usual to cover the event and give spotlight to some of the prominent players that impress us at the event.
