Sony has PLANS to shift PS4 Players TO PS5

SONY HAS PLANS TO SHIFT PS4 PLAYERS TO PS5

Recently, the PS4 became the number two best-selling console of all time, second only to its ancestor PS2. After confirming that the arrival of the next-gen PS5 will be in December 2020, the fresh PlayStation boss, Jim Ryan, is confident that they will be able to move players to the new console laying deep emphasis on the success of the console and the brand they have developed.

Jim further spoke about how, unlike previously, gamers are closely knit in communities now where they have the opportunity to share their opinions and voice their concerns. He said, “These are gamers who are networked and sticky and engaged and passionate about PlayStation to an extent that we've not seen in previous generations, as we move towards the next-generation in 2020, one of our tasks--probably our main task--is to take that community and transition it from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, and at a scale and pace that we've never delivered on before.

Jim also spoke about developers, publishers and the console codes stating, “One thing that makes me particularly optimistic that what we're hearing from developers and publishers, is the ease in which they are able to get code running on PlayStation 5 is way beyond any experience they've had on any other PlayStation platform.” Which is obviously great news.

We are not yet sure what exactly is Sony’s plan to shift players to the new console but the confidence in the PlayStation Chief’s words say that they have something going on their mind. Now whether this would be subsidized rates, impressive feature or anything else that compels gamers to move, we don’t honestly know…
